Here’s a breath of fresh air on a chilly fall day. The first-ever Cape Cod Hydrangea Festival is currently being planned for July 10 through 19, 2020. Hoping to turn this event into an annual affair that will cover the second and third weekends in July, the Cape Cod Chamber of Commerce is promoting this new happening as a way to share the beauty of Cape Cod and its signature blue, pink, and white blossoms with visitors from around the world.
The gardens featured during the Hydrangea Festival will be sponsored by non-profit organizations throughout Cape Cod. Planners envision garden tours, educational programs, lectures, sales, demonstrations and possibly even special menus at restaurants. Gardens on tour will be open from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM and entrance to each garden will be $5.00 per person. Not all gardens featured will be on tour every day. Proceeds from the event will benefit the non-profit sponsoring organization.
The hydrangea courtyard at the Inn will not be on tour during the festival, in part due to a shortage of parking but primarily to protect our guests’ privacy. So if you want to see our gardens in bloom you better book your reservation now.
