Blue and White sign reading Captain Frosty's Fish & ChipsOpening Thursday, April 13th this year, Captain Frosty’s Fish and Chips is a Cape Cod favorite for fried seafood and soft-serve ice cream. Located along Cape Cod’s scenic Route 6A in Dennis, MA the Captain started its career as a dairy bar in the late 1950s. In 1976 the current owner’s expanded the operation and began offering fried seafood in a casual dining room of wooden booths or out back on a brick patio beneath the shade of a sturdy oak tree.

Among the many old-fashioned clam shacks on Cape Cod, Captain Frosty’s has attracted the attention of several notable publications, such as the Boston Globe and Coastal Living magazine. Recently reviewed by the acclaimed Zagat organization for having “superb fried seafood” Frosty’s is a gathering spot for visitors and locals alike, especially after a hot summer day at one of the nearby beaches.

Open seasonally from mid-April through September, this quirky roadside restaurant is quintessential Cape Cod, tempting its loyal followers with meaty lobster rolls, succulent fried clams and ice cold frappes, freezes, and sundaes.
